Coming to Amberley Way Play Area w/c 29th July 2024

Egglescliffe and Eaglescliffe Council are pleased to announce the installation of the New Inclusive Play equipment (phase 1) starting week commencing 29th July 2024.

Works are expected to take two weeks to complete. Protective tall herris fencing will be erected around the work area and will start with the excavation and preparation of the sub-base for the surfacing with the equipment scheduled for delivery from Wednesday that week.

The Parish Council would like to apologise in advance for the short notice and hope to keep disruption to a minimum. The improvement works are being carried out by Streetscape (Products & Services) Ltd.

SBC Enforcement Team are aware.  

Egglescliffe and Eaglescliffe Council are currently looking at designs for further equipment at Amberley Way for all ages to enjoy and will be providing further information and consultation in the early Autumn. In the meantime if you would like to add your opinions or ideas to the previous consultation then please either email Clerk@egglescliffeandeaglescliffe-pc.org.uk or scan the QR code on the attached ‘thumbnail’.

ANNUAL PARISH MEETING

The Annual Meeting of the Parish Assembly will be held on Thursday 25th April 2024 at 7.30pm in Egglescliffe Community Centre, Durham Lane, Eaglescliffe TS16 0EH

The Egglescliffe and Eaglescliffe Parish Council is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to maintain the QEII Garden 2024/25, located above the rail tunnel off Urlay Nook Road in Eaglescliffe West.

If curiosity has got the better of you, you might have noticed some groundworks and an unusual installation in St. Margaret’s recently. This is part of a new initiative to install fitness equipment specifically designed to cater to our older residents.

EGGLESCLIFFE VILLAGE SUMMER FETE 2024

Egglescliffe and Eaglescliffe Council are asking for volunteers to get involved with the organisation and management of the Summer Fete for this summer.
